Rita C. Glaza, age 85 of Ruth, passed away Thursday morning, May 10, 2012 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe after an extended illness, with her family at her side while under Hospice Care.

James Patrick Kervin, age 76, resident of Bad Axe, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 14, 2012, at Huron Medical Center.

He was born February 13, 1936, in Bad Axe to Leo “Pat” and Julia (Balint) Kervin. Jim was united in marriage to Onalee Sturm on September 3, 1960, in Pigeon.

Raymond Heck, age 81 of Pigeon, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 12, 2012 at Scheurer Hospital, Pigeon. He was born December 15, 1930, in Pigeon, the son of the late Charles and Hulda (Barr) Heck.

Ray grew up in the Pigeon area and graduated from Pigeon High School in 1949.

Patricia A. Schmitz, age 82 of Harbor Beach, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab Center of the Harbor Beach Community Hospital.

She was born on July 9, 1929 in Detroit. Patricia worked at Saunders Candy Company for forty-six years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church.
