Daughters of Isabella announce Daughter of the Month

Catherine Essenmacher The Daughters of Isabella have chosen Catherine Essenmacher, Harbor Beach, as December Daughter of the Month. She is a 20-year member.

Catherine and her late husband, Howard, were married 56 years and were blessed with eight children, 33 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and one stepgreat grandchild.

Catherine is a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron where she taught CCD and was a member of the Altar Society. She serves as vice president of the Harbor Beach Seniors and is a past member of Michigan Farm Bureau.

Catherine's hobbies include quilting, rug weaving, playing accordion, cards and spending a lot of time with her grandchildren.
