Owen-Gage names December’s “Senior Student of the Month”

Amanda Woodruff Amanda Woodruff OWENDALE - Amanda Woodruff has been named Owendale-Gagetown School's "Senior Student of the Month" for December.

Amanda has played volleyball all four years of high school, the first two of which she played while attending Cass City Schools. As a senior, she was chosen a member of the NCTL Second team in volleyball. She also played soccer one year while at Cass City Schools.

Academically, Amanda has consistently been on the honor roll and has been a member of Owen- Gage's 3.0 Honors Club each year. She also was inducted into the National Honor Society last year.

As a junior, Amanda was chosen as a homecoming representative as was a member of the prom committee. this year, she was nominated as a queen candidate for homecoming. Amanda currently serves as the senior class secretary and also is a member of the school's yearbook/newspaper staff. All through high school, Amanda has assisted at the Gagetown Nazarene Church with the Kids for Christ program.

Amanda is the daughter of Stan and Julie Woodruff of Gagetown. She plans to attend college in the fall.
