Kegan Donald Jackson, age 8, of Bad Axe and Port Hope passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2010 after an accident in Bloomfield Township.
He was born May 21, 2002 in Bad Axe to Jason Jackson and Andrea (Bills) Hoig.
Kegan attended Bam International Church in Sandusky and was a second grader at the Bad Axe George Green Elementary School. He was a typical active eight year old who loved all sports, playing video games, recreational vehicles, hunting, fishing, baseball, T-ball and camping.
He is survived by his mother, Andrea Bills Hoig and her husband Michael of Bad Axe, his father, Jason Jackson of Port Hope; his sister, Krysta Jackson of Ubly; his grandparents, Don Jackson of Ubly and Linda Jackson (Dove) of Palms; great-grandfather, Floyd Morell of Ubly and grandmother Sheila Heronemus of Brown City; great-grandparents Jerry and Jackie Heronemus of Decker, grandfather Brian Bills of Frankenmuth, great-grandmother, Dorothy Bills of Cass City; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 at the MacAlpine Mac Chapel, Bad Axe.
Memorials may be offered to the Family Discretionary Fund or the Kegan D. Jackson Memorial Fund, 3865-5 Wilder Road, Bay City, MI 48706.
Arrangements were handled by the MacAlpine Funeral Home, Bad Axe.
