Roggenbucks celebrate 50th


Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Roggenbuck Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Roggenbuck On November 26, 1960, Kenneth Roggenbuck and Christine Rutkowski united in marriage at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville.

The Rev. Ignatius I. Woloszyk performed the ceremony.

The best man was Elmer G. Roggenbuck (deceased), and Dorothy (Rutkowski) Kolar was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Bernice (Wrubel) Sokol, Bernice (Roggenbuck) Divine, Arlene (Trepkowski) Susalla and Judy (Schultz) Krarner. The groomsmen were Harold Dropewski, Bill Peruski, Richard Kociba and Stanley Rutkowski.

To honor the couple, a gathering of family and friends was held at Cousins in Bad Axe on December 18, 2010.

On Sunday, December 19, 2010, a special blessing, celebrating 50 years of marriage, was given to them by Father William Spencer, pastor, during the 11 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, Harbor Beach.

They have three children: Gary & Valerie Roggenbuck, Tina & Robert Scott, and Eric & Shannon Roggenbuck. They also have seven grandchildren: Kyle (Stephanie) Roggenbuck,

Wesley Roggenbuck and Holly Roggenbuck, Amanda Scott and Hannah Scott, and

Samantha and Jessie Roggenbuck.

Kenneth and Christine have lived all of their married life on the family farm in the Harbor Beach area.
