In 1946, he married Margaret Ribner, a native New Yorker. The couple had three children in North Branch, before relocating to White Meadow Lake in the 1960s where they reared their fourth child. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Margaret; brothers, Lloyd and Thomas; and by his sister, Grace. He is survived by his sons, Bobby of Grapevine, Texas, Jim of Palm Springs, Calif.; Kurt of Austin, Texas; his daughter, Debbie of Rockaway; and his three grandchildren, Riley, Regan and Drew.
