RUTH BUSH

Ruth Bush, age 94, of Sebewaing, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 9, 2012.

She was born October 22, 1917 in Scottville, Mich., the daughter of the late William and Florence (Arnold) Hayes. In 1939 she married Vern Riskey in Sebewaing. He preceded her in death in 1970. In 1973 she married Milan Bush of Unionville. He preceded her in death in 1997.

Ruth was an active member of the Unionville Moravian Church involved in the Women’s Fellowship, Ann’s Circle and had formerly been a chair member. She was a member of the USA Senior Citizens and bowling league. Ruth was employed by Best Tackle for many years as well as Denner Brothers Pharmacy.

She is survived by four step children; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She is the dearest friend of Helen Schafer.

She is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Arnold Hayes, Jack Hayes, Carl Hayes and Nellie Hahn.

The funeral service was held at Unionville Moravian Church.

Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sebewaing.
