North Huron ‘Drive your Tractor to School Day’

Tractors in parking lot. Tractors in parking lot. Members of North Huron FFA and students at North Huron school were welcomed to drive their tractors to school on May 1, 2013. It is meant to be a fun activity as well as get students interested in agriculture and educate fellow students about agriculture and tractor safety. The chapter sponsored donuts for everyone that showed up to school early with their tractors and those that came early to view the tractors. “It is an event that members look forward to each year” said Joe Ankley, FFA Advisor. “We try to make it fun for the students and we had great weather for the event.” Awards were handed out for the cleanest tractor, dirtiest tracor, biggest tractor, smallest tractor and fan choice award.
