BAD AXE — Goodwill officially opened its 16th retail store in Mid- Michigan on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, in Bad Axe. Approximately 100 eager shoppers arrived by car, truck, bike, and even the TAT bus, and waited in line for the 8:30 a.m. event. On hand for the event were store associates from neighboring stores, along with Goodwill of Mid-Michigan’s President & CEO Gary Smith, Vice President of Retail Operations Angella Thompson, Director of Community Relations Kathy Rometty, Director of Workforce Development Tami Bauchan, and Human Resources Assistant Bryce McGeehan.
