Kid’s Carnival, Apr. 22
PIGEON — Cross Lutheran School will host its Kid’s Carnival from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 22 in the school gymnasium at 200 Ruppert St. in Pigeon. The school will be filled with games, balloons, prizes, laughter and refreshments during Kid’s Carnival - also known as Family Fun Night. Activities will also include raffles for both kids and adults, face painting, bingo, kid carnival games, an inflatable jump house and a cake walk. The community is invited to attend and enjoy an evening of family fun. Game tickets will be available at the door. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward supporting Cross Lutheran School.

HARBOR BEACH — The Annual OLLH Mom2Mom Sale will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 22 at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic School, Harbor Beach. Entrance fee is $3 per adult shopper. Free childcare is offered for shoppers’ children. There will be 30 tables of gently-used children’s clothing and other items available for purchase. In addition, there will be seven vendors on-site. Coffee and donuts will be for sale as well. All proceeds benefit OLLH Catholic School.

Open Naloxone Training
HURON COUNTY — Huron Behavioral Health offers Naloxone (also known as Narcan) for free to individuals, family members, and friends who want to be prepared for loved-one who may be at risk; the prescription, brief training and medication is provided on-site by Huron Behavioral Health staff. Huron Behavioral Health will host an Open Naloxone Training event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 25. The approximately 30-minute training will be oneon one. Participants will learn about Naloxone and how to administer the drug safely and

Book Club offering prize
PIGEON — The Pigeon District Library Book Club, which meets at 6:30 p.m. on the last Tuesday of the month, is offering a chance for participants to win a prize at its next meeting, which will be Tuesday, April 25. Readers are asked to choose a book with the author’s last name starting with the same letter as the reader’s last name. Then, at the meeting, readers will have up to 10 minutes to explain why their book should be read by fellow readers. The books will be voted on and the winner will receive a prize.
