KINDE - A science complex at North Huron High School was vandalized Monday evening causing up to $7,500 worth of damage, according to the Huron County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, the sheriff’s office responded to North Huron's ag science complex at the Kinde campus.

A 12 year old and 13 year old had allegedly broken glass objects, left water running and set fire extinguishers off, as well as other acts of vandalism, according to a release from the department. The two youths and their parents were cooperative with investigating deputies, the release said.

“They were then released to their parents. Juvenile petitions will be sought in the coming days, while the actual damage amount is determined," the release stated.
