The game will be part of the Cass City Freedom festival, featuring recently graduated senior players from the east and west division.

In accordance to MHSAA rules, the game can only feature seniors, and at least for this inaugural game, will divide the players by their conference divisions. The West All-Stars will include players from USA, Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port, Vassar, Bad Axe, Cass City and Reese, and coached by Jason Hahn, coach of Vassar, who won the GTCW this season. The East All-Stars will include players from Harbor Beach, Ubly, Memphis, Sandusky, Brown City and Marlette, and skippered by Jim Becker, whose Ubly Bearcats were district champions this season.
