Columbia Township Library announces fall programming

UNIONVILLE - Briynne McCrea, director, announces fall programming at Columbia Township Library:

• Adult Computer Classes:

Do you wish you understood computers better? Please join us for a fun series of free classes aimed at adult learners. We will use a great video series to learn basic computer skills and then practice what we learn together. Registration is required – please call 989-674-2651 to sign up today!

Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 11 a.m.: Facebook and Twitter Basics

Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m.: Using Windows 10

Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m.: Creating Documents with Microsoft Word – Part 1

Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 11 a.m.: Creating Documents with Microsoft Word – Part 2

Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 11 a.m.: Get Started Using the Internet

Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m.: Web Search Basics

• Stories & STEAM: Tuesdays from 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 11

Elementary and middle school students will have fun exploring science and technology at the library. We will build with Legos and K’Nex, create art with 3D printing pens and perler beads, explore electricity with Snap Circuits, engineer marble runs, and much more! Bus transportation to the library is available from USA and Christ the King schools.

• Preschool Story Time: Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to noon beginning Tuesday, Sept. 11

Stories, crafts, and activities for young children that build early literacy skills.
