Jack Clancy started the game off with a bang when he took the hand-off from quarterback Vinny Blackstock on the first play of the game and ran 65 yards for the touchdown. Blackstock, not to be outdone, threw for 140 yards and three touchdowns that included a 56-yard scoring strike to Ryan Wehner and a 51-yard score to Cody Talaski. Bad Axe finished the game with an impressive 512 yards of offense, including 372 rushing yards.

BROWN CITY - The Ubly Bearcats ran the ball 489 yards, including 193 from Ethan Lemke and 136 from Casey Sweeney as they downed the Green Devils 48-12. Ubly hopes to pick up a sixth win Friday night against Marlette to secure a playoff spot.

VASSAR - The Elkton- Pigeon Bay Port Lakers secured their playoff spot when they beat up on the Vassar Vulcans 66-18 on Friday night. Preston Warren led the offense with 179 yards and scoring four touchdowns. Quarterback Bryce Sears connected with J.T. Warren for a 15-yard passing touchdown.

CASEVILLE - The Eagles homecoming was spoiled by the New Haven Merritt Mustangs, 54-7.

Homecoming King Chance Shippey led the Eagles both on offense and defense, but the Mustangs were just too much for Caseville who had several players not in uniform for the game.
