4-H Projects Galore workshop held


 

 

BAD AXE – The 2019 4-H Projects Galore Workshop was held at the Bad Axe High School, Saturday, Feb. 2, with 29 youth attending. 4-H members, as well as non-4-H youth, ages 5-19, had many sessions to choose from: Bath & Body Works, by Patti Errer; Bleach T-Shirts, by Kelley and Marjorie Phillips; Garden Picker Basket, by Vicky Yackle; Glass Etching, by Kari VerEllen, assisted by Eric VerEllen; Hot Pad Weaving, by Mary Aymen; Line Dancing, by Loretta Kuhn; Painted Canvas with Tape, by Kari VerEllen, assisted by Jennifer Booms and Eric VerEllen; Public Speaking, by Patty Tinsey-Iseler; STEM Activities, by Erica Karg; and Wreath Making, by Ashley Lacy, Janet and Rachel Leppek. Miscellaneous crafts were available for youth to complete in between sessions and during lunch. Quilt squares were available and decorated by those in attendance. The 4-H Council is looking to make a quilt in time to exhibit at the Huron Community Fair, Sunday, July 28-Saturday, Aug. 3.
