LANSING – The Michigan Community Service Commission is seeking input to explore ways to expand service and volunteerism in communities across Michigan.
The input gathered through an online survey will help shape the future of Michigan volunteerism and national service, as feedback will generate ideas to include in a new State Service Plan.
The Commission, which serves as the state’s lead agency on volunteerism, creates a new State Service Plan every three years. The agency recently completed a Volunteer Michigan Listening Tour that visited each region in the state.
“We want to hear from a diverse group of community members to learn how service and volunteerism can address Michigan’s toughest challenges,” said Michigan Community Service Commission Executive Director Ginna Holmes.
Find the survey at icfi.michigan community-service-commission.sgizmo.com/s3/ or see Michigan.gov/volunteer. The survey should be completed by Friday, Dec. 7, 2018.
