PORT AUSTIN – Port Austin Township Library, 114 Railroad St., Port Austin, 989- 738-7212, announces:

• The library is now open for patron use from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday; and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

• Please wear a mask.

• Remember you can drop off your used eyeglasses at the library. The drop off box is sponsored by the Port Austin Lions Club.

• Come in and download E-Books. It’s free.

• Drop off for used cell phones and iPods they will benefit Huron County Safe Place.

• The library can make black and white and color copies. Can laminate 5×7, 8×11 and 11×17 items.

• Send and/or receive a fax at the library. Fax number is 989-738-7983.

• Interloan books on MEL (Michigan Electronic Library temporarily turned off) at the library or from home. Please ask at the library.

• Learn how to use Overdrive. It’s easy and you can get e-books online if you have a library card.

• Learn how to download Mango.
